Justin Michael Johnson White

August 29, 1975 - June 19, 2022

Justin Michael Johnson White left the confines of the flesh on June 19, 2022, at 9:03 PM PST. He was living in Sierra Vista, Arizona with his wife Kristofer Dai Stewart White where they had moved to help his mother. Justin was a generous, intelligent man. He was a devotee of tabletop role play games, his favorite being Shadow Run. He used these frameworks to build entire worlds of fantasy and adventure. His body was permanently damaged by the chemotherapy and radiation that saved his life when he was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor kidney cancer at the age of two. Role playing was a way for him to shrug off those limitations and escape the constant pain that he bore in the last 20 years of his life. He was a loving husband, unconditionally supporting his wife through the tortures of bipolar disorder, ADD, and anxiety that caused seizures. No matter what shape she was in, he always told her, “I’m proud of you,” and would answer her scoffs with instances when he saw her display strength, compassion, or intelligence. Justin was quiet, introverted, and most people never knew the extraordinary person he was. More should have known him. He never failed to be a friend to those in need. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Lee Johnson White and his hero, his father Larry Duane White. He is survived by his wife Kristofer Dai Stewart White, his brother Kyle White and family. Lover of animals and stories, Justin will be sorely missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
