Teresa Saenz Duran was called to be with the Lord on March 15, 2024.  She was born 8/30/1939 in Pueblo, CO.  On July 6, 1974, she married Richard Duran.  Her parents Carlos and Lupita Saenz preceded her in death.  Teresa retired from federal service as an Administrative Officer with 30 years of service in April 1997.  She is survived by her husband Richard and a son Phillip and Daughter In Law Kimberly Duran, Parker, CO, sister Marlene S Lowe, Greensboro, NC and brother Lt. Col (retired) John E and sister in law Eleanor Saenz, Pueblo, CO, brother in law Alfred Duran, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Teresa was involved in the U.S. Dept of Labor’s Federal Women’s Program and the professional organization Federally Employed Women and held several officer positions in both organizations.  Teresa was listed as Who’s Who of Professional Women 1992.

Her hobbies were golfing, fishing, gardening and needle work.

Teresa was a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter.  She will be remembered as a loyal and trusted friend, sweet and her sense of humor.
