Teressa Hunt, also known as Terri, passed away peacefully in Hillsboro, Oregon on December 11th, 2024.
Terri was born in Portland, Oregon on May 6th, 1960 to Louis Hembree and Joan Arrington. She attended University of Washington and Linfield University to study psychology, applying her knowledge to many aspects of her life. She had many professions throughout her life, but mainly worked as a caregiver and a self-employed pet sitter.
Terri enjoyed nature and making things grow. Much of her time was spent gardening or taking care of her houseplants wherever she resided. She moved often and joked that she shouldn't put in so much effort into her gardens because she couldn't take them with her. She left many homes fully flowered and landscaped for the next person or family to enjoy. Her love of plants was only surpassed by the love she gave as a mother.
Terri was also a gifted artist, like every woman before her in the family. She loved to work in all mediums, but her most astonishing works were oil paintings. She also spent many a day drawing in cafes with her daughter.
