Peter was born in Alameda, CA on March 12th, 1943 to Paul Emmons Taylor and Jean Elizabeth Gerling. He attended C. K. McClatchy high school, and worked for many years as an office manager at Burlington Coat Factory.
Peter enjoyed living in Japan for some time and continued to enjoy Japanese art, culture and décor throughout his life.
Peter is survived by his son Kent Taylor and his granddaughters Chanda Gonet and Ashlin Taylor.
