Sadly, our beloved, Peggy Jane Shotts , 89, of Torrance, California went home to be with the Lord on Thursday May 22, 2025. 

Peggy Jane Shotts was born in Kittaning, Pennsylvania on July 9, 1935 to Charles and Mertya Varner Of kittanging. Peggy graduated from Elders Ridge High School in 1953. After graduation, she worked mainly as a seamstress. In 1955, she met Harold and they wed in 1956, going on to have five children, Gerald, Cynthia, Patricia, Alina, and Stephen. Peggy leaves behind many brokenhearted relatives, including her five children, twelve grandchildren, Christopher, Harold D., Tim Jr., Sarah, Tracey, Shaun, Matthew, Jennifer, Kimberly, Nicholas, Michael, Abigail, and many great-grandchildren. Peggy had many hobbies, including, embroidery, bowling, gardening, collecting Elvis memorabilia, and decorating for the holidays. Her greatest joys were her husband, and the gift of being a mom and grandma.
