Patricia Ann Robinson Yount, 90, of Mount Vernon, Washington, passed away on January 4, 2026. She was born on May 8, 1935, in Stonington, Connecticut, to Robert and Doris Robinson.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, James Robert Yount; her children Neil, Julie, Joanne, and Lenny; and her grandson Andrew.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children John (Sandra), Jeff (Susie), Joe (Shelly), Jim (Lea), Jackie, and Bobby (Stephanie); her grandchildren David, Susan, Jesse, Laura, Kevin, Casey, Shawn, Michael, Stephen, Nicole, Mark II, and Ash; and her numerous great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Patricia worked as a social worker and dedicated much of her time to volunteer work. She was known for her kindness, strength, and generosity. Patricia and James were foster parents for many years to at-risk children. She was born to be a mother and caregiver, and nothing brought her greater happiness.
Patricia’s only request was that her ashes be scattered with her husband, daughter Joanne, and son Lenny.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to an organization close to your heart in her memory.
Patricia lived a life touched by tragedy, yet she never allowed it to diminish her spirit. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
