Michael Charles Loux
 June 28, 1946 – January 27, 2026

Michael Charles Loux, loving and devoted husband and father, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was 79 years old.

Michael, better known as Mike, is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Barbara Loux, and his two daughters, Elizabeth Gamponia (Christopher Gamponia) and Kathryn Loux, his brother Steven Loux (Toni Howell-Loux), and his grandson, Oliver Gamponia.  Mike was also deeply loved by his extended family, Diane and Ted Yoshida (Holland Yoshida), Sab Yoshida, Carey and Ron Deininger and Sara Deininger. 

Mike was born in Oakland, CA to George and Cenia Loux, and was raised in Hayward, CA. Michael met his wife, Barbara, in Hayward and after marrying, moved to Fremont, CA where they lived and raised their daughters. Mike had a larger-than-life personality and always approached each day with a smile and positive attitude. When Mike wasn’t working at the dealership, he enjoyed playing golf, going to country concerts with his family and friends, and just relaxing at home. It’s hard to put into words just how much he meant to the people in his life. Mike will be deeply missed, but the wonderful memories of him will carry on.
