Sharon Marie Gearhart, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, nurse and friend passed into eternal life on June  23, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and grace.
Sharon had the gift of humor and wit at the same time, comforting in ways not often found, and a positive affirming presence.
Born May 25, 1948 in Los Angeles, California.


She married Glenn Gearhart on February  14, 1970 Valentine's Day.  56 years of marriage.
Together they had 3 children, Shauna, Stephen and Kevin.
Shauna preceded Sharon in death.

After  having her children Sharon pursued a career in nursing.  Sharon was a natural healer and loved nursing as a ministry.  She retired in 2012
from Huntington Beach hospital where she was Director of Behavorial Health inpatient/outpatient units.
Staff and patients benefitted from her special gifts.

Sharon had a passion for travel and rarely refused an invite for an adventure. She was dearly loved and cherished by her husband, family, coworkers and friends. All felt blessed by her wit, humor, forgiveness and positive attitude. Her smile was contagious, she believed in God and felt his strong presence especially in her last days.
