ROSSENAS, EDNA. Died August 20th, age 96. Born and raised in Detroit, she attended the University of Michigan and then Goucher College. After graduation, she moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and then to the Bay Area where she raised and nurtured her family. Edna was an independent and spirited individual. She travelled widely during her long lifetime and accumulated many adoring friends. Having a generous social conscience she contributed to and participated in numerous social, environmental and politically progressive causes. She was a prominent Feldenkrais trainer and through her work she was able to alleviate the symptoms and causes of chronic pain in her patients. She was deeply respected and loved by her family as well as by her large circle of friends and admirers. She will be greatly missed. Edna is survived by her daughter Julia Kasle Brown (Kent), her daughter Shelley Kasle and by her son David Kasle (Margie). She is also survived by her grandsons Benjamin Brown and Jeffrey Kasle. Another grandson, Jonathan Kasle predeceased her. Memorial services to be announced at a future date.
