The devoted mother of seven will be well-remembered for her passion for her community and her boundless love for her family.
A devout sewing and crafting enthusiast, Jackie surprised many with her artistic talents over the years. Additionally, this caring woman thoroughly enjoyed her employment at the local school district. She firmly believed in helping those in need and went out of her way to support her fellow Chowchilla residents in every way possible. Mrs. Wallen was exceptionally proud of all of her children and loved to share their life accomplishments with her friends and acquaintances.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kennon Wallen, and by her sons, Wade and Gary Phillips. She is survived by her five children, Phyllis, Mike, Joel, Larry, and Melissa, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at a location and date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Special Olympics in Mrs. Wallen’s name.
