William Gerald Hamilton of Benicia / Vallejo California passed away at home on December 22 2021 After a short battle of strength against fighting cancer.
Willie was born in Santa Rosa California on August 04 1957 to Gerald (Jerry)Clint Hamilton and Virginia (Ginger)Lorraine Orr Hamilton . He attended Benicia High School Class of 1975 Where he met and fell in love with and married the love of his life of 46 years Linda Marie Murphy of Benicia Ca. William became a father to two beautiful boys Willie Jason Hamilton Garcia and Sean Micheal Hamilton and was the happiest a guy could be.. He was the bread winner of his family and he happily provided for his family and was a devoted father husband and friend. BIG Willie as was known to family and friends held numerous jobs including Working for Zecks Auto Parts in Benicia Ca, Later becoming a journeyman mechanic Through Sun Valley Ford in Concord Ca And later working for Alexs Automotive in Benicia Ca .
Big willie (Sweetheart) enjoyed family dinners swimming working on cars and taking anything apart . He was a loved and respected mechanic to all his family and friends and never once was unable to get a broke car to start .
Willie (Falcon) could hear the symptoms of the problem of your car and knew exactly what the problem was . William Gerald Hamilton was awarded the father of the year by both his sons every year of his life .

He is survived by Linda M Hamilton loving wife of 46 years, Mother Virginia Hamilton of Washington , Aunt Ann Holland (Aunt Punky) of Washington, Sister Mary Hamilton of New Mexico ,Son Willie Jason Hamilton (Garcia}, Son in law Joseph A Garcia (Joe) mother in law Reyna Murphy(nana)of
Benicia , sister in law Dianna L Barker (DIDI) And brother in law Alan D Murphy(uncle) of Vallejo as well as numerous nieces cousins nephews and extended family from both sides of our loving families. Big Willie loved family and backyard gatherings and loved food swimming and swap meets and races .and was predeceased by Father Gerald Clint Hamilton (Jerry), Brother Roy Hamilton, and son Sean Micheal Hamilton ,and brother in law Ricky Murphy, and father in law Bill Dean Murphy (popsi)of Benicia California. .
William Gerald Hamilton was with his wife Linda (sister) and son Willie (Bud) and son in law Joseph Garcia (joe) at home in his bed out of pain and suffering for eternity. He was comfortable and will be missed every second of every day . Willie had a heart of gold was a all around good guy and faithful spouse and loving devoted father .
Due to Covid 19 Pandemic and variants causing safety concerns we are holding off on a celebration of life for Big Willie until August of 2022.

The heavens got an angel and now we have a void in our lives that we have to learn to live with , to live without your houmorus witty joking funside you had till the end. Wasnt a day gone by i wouldnt laugh because of you we love you and will be together again someday ... Funeral arrangements were handled by Tulip Creamation Services of San Francisco and his remains will be delivered to his wife and son for final resting in a 1967 ford mustang urn we found for you ..Dad If love could of kept you alive you would have lived forever .. you are deeply missed and loved and i am honored to have you as a father and friend for life .REST IN PEACE William Gerald Hamilton aka Sweetheart aka Falcon aka Super Dave Willie .
