Lawrence "Larry" Albert Ginsberg 79, of Florida passed February 27, 2021 at Tidewell Hospice House in Sarasota, Florida of Covid-19 complications. He was born September 11, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Albert L. and Miami E. (Lawrence) Ginsberg. He married Theresa (Shepherd-Bourff) May 9, 1981 and she survives.
Larry worked as a QC Inspector/Supervisor at various machine shops in Indiana and then in Florida after his move in December 1987 to St Petersburg. He enjoyed euchre, woodworking, fishing, RV camping and mostly spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all family members. Larry was everyone's friend, always ready to help, enjoyed teasing whomever he could and also enjoyed his new camping buddies at Thousand Trails/Encore Parks. He loved and cared for everyone.
Larry was a member of Family Church of Port Charlotte, Florida (formerly First Baptist Church PC). He volunteered several years at WinShape Camp, assisted the Tech Team at Sunday morning services and thoroughly enjoyed the First Men's Group.
Survivors: wife of 40 years, Theresa; daughters: Michelle L. Ginsberg, FL; and Natalie Dawn Hudgins, AL; sons: Matthew K and Michael K, CO, Mark A Ginsberg, CA; and Jeffrey D Bourff Sr, FL; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; Sister: Marsha (Randy) Ramage, GA; sisters-in-law: Joyce Shepherd and Nancy Ailes, FL; brother-in-law: David W (Rita) Shepherd, IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents: Albert L and Miami E., brother Donald Ginsberg, In-laws: Leslie N. and Laverne R. (Lohman) Shepherd.
