Anna Marie “Cissie” (Fecca) Anglescy, 94, of Trevose, PA passed away on Monday, February 7th surrounded by loved ones.
Born on May 27, 1927, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Peter and Marie Fecca. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years Martin “Butch” Anglescy and her brother Anthony Fecca.
Anna Marie moved to Trevose (“the country”) in the 1930s. She attended Siles School and graduated in 1945 from Lower Moreland High School. She worked at The Philadelphia State Hospital at Byberry prior to her marriage. Anna Marie was a Cub Scout Den Mother, member of the Lower South Women’s Republican Club, member of the Assumption BVM Church, room mother for her kids at school and an active attendee to all manner of music and sporting events for kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Anna Marie loved to attend to her plants and flowers, to draw and paint, read, travel with her husband, and to attend musical theater. Above all she loved to be surrounded by her family, cook delicious food and make sure anyone who came to her home felt welcome and left with a full belly.
She is survived by her brother Thomas (Mary Ellen) Fecca, her children Barbara (David) Speidel, Susan (Thomas) Flanagan, Thomas (Mary) Anglescy, Peter (Nanci) Anglescy, and Anita (Douglas) Todd, her eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 18th, 2022 at 9:30AM at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville PA 19053 followed by Anna Marie’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.
