As his boss, Rick Raisch said: "Scott… put his hand on almost every draft system in the state at some point in his life," adding, "He was always excited about our future prospects, growing our company..."
In his more than 30-year career, he was well-known throughout the Denver area and Colorado for his work in the industry and his dedication to his co-workers and customers.
Scott is survived by his sister, Vikki Porter of La Quinta, CA, his nieces, Ashlee Porter Page of Prescott Valley, AZ, and Taylor Porter of Denver, and three aunts who are now in their 90s and a score of cousins. He was predeceased by his older brother, Randy Jay, in 2019.
A celebration of life for Scott will be held at 11 a.m. MT on April 24 at the Applewood Golf Club in Golden, Colorado. For information and to RSVP, contact Vikki at vporter@usc.edu.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association (https://bit.ly/3r3I0YU), the Nature Conservancy or the Colorado Humane Society.
