Teofil (“Teddy”) Laski, 90, living in Andover, Massachusetts passed away at home on Monday, June 6, 2022. Teofil was born to the late Jozef and Jozefa Laski on July 17, 1931 in Las Toczylowo, Poland. He immigrated to America in 1964 and settled in Kearny, New Jersey. There, he met Jadwiga Pulkosnik, who would become his wife of 51 years. Teofil worked for the Kearny Board of Education for over 30 years before retiring in 2000. He and Jadwiga raised their family in New Jersey, first in Kearny and, later, in West Paterson. Their Polish roots were always on display at the many family gatherings they hosted over the years. Teofil and Jadwiga moved to Andover, MA in 2019.
Teofil is survived by his wife, Jadwiga, his three sons, Dr. Robert and wife Michele of Center Valley, PA, Krzysztof and wife Claire, of Washington, D.C., and Jozef and wife Maggie of Andover, MA; grandchildren, Ella, Emilia, Charles, Delilah, Izabella, and Julia.
Visitation will take place on Friday evening, June 10th, 2022 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at 145 Tennis Avenue, Ambler PA 19002 (Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home – Donahue Funeral Home, 215-348-9421). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine, in Doylestown, PA. Following the Mass, the Rite of Committal and Burial will be held on the cemetery grounds at the Shrine.
