Freddie Battle "Nighthawk" of Watsonville, CA passed away at his home on June 10, 2022.
BACKGROUND WORK HISTORY
Freddie was born in Ashburn, Georgia on February 18, 1949 to Artist Battle and Agnes Louise Walker. He graduated from Overfelt High School in San Jose, CA. He excelled at so many occupations including journeyman carpenter, material handler/machinist, commercial A/C and refrigeration, and auto mechanics.
OTHER INTERESTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS Freddie was a devout Christian. Freddie loved martial arts, studying Kenpo, Kung Fu, and Judo. He also loved cars and built many hotrods in his day. He enjoyed CB's and was a licensed Ham radio operator. In his youth, he played the Sax and French Horn and was a good drummer. Freddie had a great sense of humor and was the life of any party. He was always doing something.
SURVIVORS
He is survived by his wife Holly Joy Battle, his children, Freddie Jr., Latrecia Lynette, Samuel Porter, Beecher, and Isaiah, several siblings and many close and loving friends who are his "forever family." He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
