Joshua Tree, CA - Josefita “Josie” Corina Chavez Flores, 84, passed away June 1, 2022, at her home.

She was born March 21, 1938, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Mauricio and Isabelita Sanchez Chavez. She was raised by her aunt Eufelia Garcia, living in California.  

Survivors are consisting her daughter Katherine Thomas and her son Gerald Flores, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She has one surviving brother Ambrosio.
