Charles W. Gould, 69, of San Francisco, CA died on July 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Helen Gould, and is survived by his sister Caroline and his many cousins. Born in Hyannis, Cape Cod to a family with harbormaster and Coast Guard affiliations, all types of water-borne vessels had pieces of his heart. He was enamored with all kinds of commercial ships ever since his days as a sailor on a freighter on the Great Lakes. Known as Charlie or Chuck, he was most recently a maintenance supervisor of a large multi-use building in downtown San Francisco. He had an active and inquisitive mind, always researching and learning about an incredible array of subjects. He was a quiet, private man, well-liked by the people around him, and well-loved by his family. He is missed.
