Jo Ann "GG" Willingham, aged 75, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2022 in Redlands, CA after a battle with multiple physical issues. Jo was born on August 23, 1947, in Pine Bluff, AR, to Lucille Smith (Clark) and James Smith. She attended Merrill High School, where she later graduated.She gave 20 years of service to Swope Parkway Health Center.She started as a PBX operator and ultimately retired as a PatientService Representative.Throughout her entire life, Jo held an unwavering faith in God.She shared her faith with those who surrounded her. During her life she served the lord in the capacity of an Evangelist and was previously a member of a gospel singing group. She was most recently a proud member of the Gateway Christian Fellowship Church where she enjoyed fellowship and was active in many church activities.Jo will be remembered as a genuine, matter-of-fact, loving person who always had a kind word. She loved taking photos and left behind hundreds of photos as proof. She also loved her Kansas City Chiefs.She is survived by 2 children: Monica Higgins of SanBernardino, CA; and Arthur Willingham III of Kansas City, Missouri; 2 granddaughters: Raven (Antonio) Sanders of Riverside, CA, and Faith Higgins of San Bernardino, CA; 3 great grandchildren: Jullian, Jaiden, and Jayce Sanders of Riverside, CA; 6 siblings: Jeanette Waldrup (Oza) of Lee's Summit, MO; Joyce Grayson of Kansas City, MO; Donzell Smith (Valarie) of Kansas City, MO; Teresa Smith of Pine Bluff,AR; La Curtise Smith of Kansas City, MO, and Anthony Clifton of Kansas City, MO and 1 goddaughter: Katina Williams of Missouri.She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her infant son Paul, and her brother Michael G. Smith. Per Jo's requests, there are no events planned as she did not wish to have services.GG will be dearly missed."'
