Stanley “Dusty” Ward aka The Chinwhisperer crossed the rainbow bridge on September 19, 2022
Stanley Eugene Ward was born in Columbus, Ohio. He served in the Army until 1974 where he was then honorably discharged from active duty. He worked various jobs such as construction, to security(loss prevention) was his favorite, to prep cook and hotel manger where he finally retired. The latter part of his life he decided to become an avid volunteer, educator, foster and pet owner about chinchillas. This is where the nickname “Chinwhisperer” came from.
He traveled to over 20 states while working construction but he had his heart set in living in San Francisco, CA where he resided for the last 30 years or so.
He leaves behind a rabbit name Harley D and a chinchilla name Bennie.
