Iris was an traditional homemaker. She crocheted many lovely items such as tablecloths and doilies. She made many quilts that she then gave away to family and various charities. She canned food during the summer so that we would have delicious fruits and vegetables in the winter. She enjoyed painting “money trees”. She loved to write stories and poems. She was interested in genealogy and researching the family tree. Her favorite movie genre was action movies. Iris amassed a large collection of old dolls, figurines, and depression glass through the years because it reminded her of her childhood. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Iris’ wishes will be honored and no services will commence at this time. Her choice to be cremated will also be honored by her family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Community Warehouse, in Iris’ honor.
