December 22, 1952 - November 02, 2022

Dorothy Lee Early (Dottie) age 69 of Lakeland Florida, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many passed into heaven after a short but very courageous battle against cancer on November 2, 2022.

Dottie was born in Hialeah, Florida on December 22, 1952. She graduated from Hialeah High School Class of 1970 and studied at Polk Community College from 1970 to 1972.

Dottie was married to Lincoln Jacobs on July 21, 2021; they were married for one year but dated for several years prior to marriage.

Dottie worked in customer service for Traditions Unlimited, Time Magazine and White Swan Food Service in Lakeland Florida. She also worked for many years at Piper Aircraft Corporation in Lakeland Florida. She retired in 2015 at the age of 62. She was kind, generous, compassionate, and loved her family deeply and took care of them to the end.  She enjoyed the serenity of the beach, music,    jewelry, antiques, and collectibles. She was very crafty and was accomplished in stained glass, wreath making, and quilting. She sewed/gifted numerous quilts to family and friends. She loved animals and owned cats, dogs, fish and birds for most of her life. Her love of plants/nature allowed for beautiful gardens in every home she owned.

Dottie is survived by her loving husband Lincoln Jacobs, her siblings Cheryl Griffith, George Griffith (wife Lindsay), Edward Griffith, James Seufert, Sean Seufert (wife Kathryn), her children Andy Harrison (wife Majken) and Danielle Booth, her grandchildren, Connor Harrison, Nathan Harrison, Trinity Sheffield, Imoni Sheffield, Avery Twillie, Camille (Bella) Booth, her nieces Rachel Griffith Laynez (husband Truston), Lauren Griffith, Layne Griffith, her nephew Ryan Homan (wife Caitlin), numerous cousins and other family members and friends.
