Although Millie had fought and persevered through many challenges, it was her time.  Millie passed away peacefully and was given her wings on November 13, 2022.  She was a fighter and champion of positivity throughout her battles with cancer and heart disease.

Millie was born in Chicago, Illinois June 23, 1935.    She moved to South San Francisco, California in 1974 and then again in 1994 to Clovis, California. She completed her degree at Northwestern in Chicago before becoming a wife and mother. She later became a teacher, organist, administrator, and publishing representative. Once retired, she dedicated time to helping others through the pilot program at the cancer center and helping teens through outreach program at Assistance League.  She enjoyed playing the piano and was even teaching piano lessons.

 

She is survived by four children (Tom Burg, Mary Kay Ibarra, Bill Burg and Kathleen Oriet) five grandchildren ( Sean, Sarah, Michael, Daniel, and Jimmy) and five great grandchildren.  She touched many lives with her infectious smile, her positive outlook on life, her amazing heart filled with pure love, her giving spirit, and her great friendship.  She was a role model and true friend of many.  She loved life and travel and treasured special times with family and friends.  She has now joined her family and friends that passed before her and will forever be watching from a far.  We just want to say thank you for being Millie and thank you for being our Mom.  We love you forever……
