Era Blumberg of Walnut Creek, CA passed away in Martinez, CA on December 21st 2022 at 2PM PST.

Era Blumberg was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on November 7, 1935 to Ludwig Traudkaln and Asya Furman. She attended high school and college in St Petersburg and graduated with a degree in engineering. She worked as an engineer in St. Petersburg and upon moving to the US she held various positions in electronics industry. She then completed massage school and worked as a massage therapist before retirement.

Era enjoyed spending time with her family, physical activities like tennis, skiing, ballroom dancing, going to the gym and she enjoyed travel and meeting people all over the world and learning about their culture. After retirement she volunteered for close to 20 years at The Garret thrift shop where all proceeds went to John Muir Hospital of Walnut Creek. She was very loved in the Walnut Creek, CA community and made friends all over the world !

Era is survived by daughter, Yuliya Golberg, son Ed Blumberg and grandkids, Geoff Golberg, Paul Golberg, Ryan Blumberg and Mia Blumberg. She was predeceased by her husband Natan Blumberg whom she will finally be reunited with as well as other relatives and many friends.

No formal funeral arrangements are planned. Close family is planning a celebration of her life in a small private event.
