Ted Anderson or Cactus Ted as sone knew him, passed away at his home. He was 83. He leaves behind his former wife, Darlene, daughter Melody and son Todd, granddaughters Jessica and Sara, brother Frank, sister Patty and many nieces and nephews. 

Ted was a union carpenter and had worked very hard at his profession for 50+ years all over the San Francisco Bay Area. He enjoyed what he did so much that he continued on after retirement doing various jobs for people. He enjoyed that it kept him busy. You could also find him working in his vegetable garden that he loved but his true passion was he cactus collection. It started with a tiny cactus trio that his daughter, Melody gave to him as a gift. From there it turned into a hobby that gave him joy for many years. He could tell you about the cactus, where it was from, where he purchased or found it. 

Ted was also huge in running, completing MANY marathons, half marathons and 10ks and receiving many awards for doing extremely well for his age group. His family was so proud of his accomplishments! 

Ted, Dad, Pa, Uncle Ted…you left an empty spot in so many hearts. We will deeply miss you but will see you on the other side…
