Melissa had one son Shaun. He was her pride and joy and her world. They enjoyed watching movies, going to amusement parks, the zoo, making music videos and just spending time together.
Melissa and Shaun joined her parents in Arizona in 2013 where her brother and his family also resided. Melissa moved to Fort Worth, TX in 2015 and returned to Arizona in 2016 where she remained. Melissa continued college courses at Estrella Mountain Community College AZ in Graphics Design and IT Technical Support. Melissa enjoyed working in retail, shipping and receiving and her final employment as an Office Administrator, but first and foremost her job was being a single mom to Shaun.
Melissa enjoyed the beach, collecting snow globes, fairies, taking pictures and had a great love for music. With her education in Childcare and working after school at the elementary school and YMCA as a Teachers Aide, Melissa used those skills with her son Shaun, her nieces and nephews and any child that needed help with homework and other activities. Her love for her family was strong as she always put family first, but willing to help anyone that needed it. The many lives she touched with her smile, her warmth, her laughter, her big heart and the love that she showed to everyone unconditionally will be greatly missed.
