Erica Gonzalez-Campos was born on January 23rd, 1974 to Hector Ramon and
Teodora Gonzalez. She went to be with the lord on May 3rd, 2023 at the age of
49. Erica is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Brother Baby, and
Sister Josephine. Erica is survived by her husband Joel Campos, 3 children,
Brittany, Samantha, Dustin and Grandson Ira Ramon.
Erica was a hardworking and strong woman. Everyone loved her in their own
way. She was always a phone call away and helped everyone that she could.
Erica was well known for cooking. She was very outspoken, she always said
what was on her mind even if you didn't want to hear it. Erica was always willing
to fight for anything she believed in, especially for her kids and family. Erica was
very unselfish, always taking care of others to the point where she forgot about
herself. She was the best mom, sister, aunt, and Mimi.
Erica made many connections throughout her life with the jobs she held. She
worked at the American Red Cross, Gila Bend Bank, Gila Bend Food Market,
and her current position of Security at Solana Solar Plant. She made friends
wherever she went, who she cared about emencily. When she wasn’t at work she
was at home cooking. She enjoyed making tortillas, salsas, tamales, strawberry
banana cake and recently charcuterie boards. She loved to cook and was always
looking up new recipes to try something new (or recipes for her daughter to make
for her).
Erica will be deeply missed by not only her family but by all the people she
crossed paths with that she called her friends.
