Lamont Warren Cain was born December 12, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Cain. Lamont received his elementary and high school education in Chicago. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age.
Lamont was employed by IIT and Michael Reese Hospital for several years and later went to work for the City of Chicago, holding many positions until he retired. He enjoyed his music and loved spending time with his Fiancé’ Lisa and his family.
Lamont had a passion for music along with his guitar and was known to his family and close friends as “DJ La’ Cain.” Lamont had a favorite saying, “Ok I’ll be right here, I’m not going nowhere.”
Lamont was preceded in death by: two brothers Cedric and Rickey; and one niece Kandy.
Lamont quietly departed this life on Monday, February 08, 2021 at the age of 75.
