Billy Joe Robinson was born to Charlie and Laura (Miller) Robinson on December 1, 1940 in Waco, Texas. He departed this life on September 20, 2024 in Portland, Oregon where he lived for more than 30 years. His family and friends affectionately knew him as “PJ” or “Uncle PJ”. 

He was known to be a sharp dresser, an avid golfer, and later a magnificent cook as he often cooked for his neighbors in Portland. He was a fan of all sports and adored the San Francisco 49ers football team. He was friendly and charismatic and never met a stranger wherever he went. 

Billy attended school in Waco, Texas and migrated to San Francisco, California in his early 20's. 

Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Laura Robinson; siblings, Charlie Jr, John D, Morris, Melvin, Davale, Ernest, Doris, Martha (Lucille), Virginia, Erma, Lillian, and Baby Ruth. 

Billy leaves so many to cherish his memories: sister, Wanda Dupart, of Waco; two daughters, Paulynne Jones, of Vallejo, California, and Katina New, of Grand Prairie, Texas; bonus daughter, RoWena Harmon, of Arlington, Texas; granddogs, Boss and Sofi and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. We are blessed and honored to see that he has touched so many lives.
