Letty Ito Garcia was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world suddenly at home on March 13, 2021 at the tender age of 67 after a courageous battle with COVID, surrounded by her loving family who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Letty loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. Her family would gather around the kitchen table for home-cooked meals and loved listening to Letty’s stories about her travels and bargains.
Letty was born and was raised in El Paso, TX. She attended University of Texas and obtained her real estate license in Phoenix, AZ. After being in the real estate business for several years, she decided to stay home and focus on her health and her family as Letty’s pride was her family.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Letty. She loved her lunches with friends and a glass of wine. During vacations with family, Letty often explored local shops and enjoyed local cuisine. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities despite her health challenges. Her pleasant and cheerful personality was contagious to everyone she met.
Letty is preceded in death by her parents; Maria Jauregui and Jose Ito; her brother, Jose “Pepin” Ito. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Luis; 3 sons, Eddie, Adrian and Patrick; 4 grandchildren, Sara, Massimo, Katerina and Logan; 2 great-grandsons, Maddox and Grayson; 2 sisters, Cheli and Yoko; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
