Sandra Elaine Mumah (91) passed away September 22, 2024. 
She was born to Lewis & Edith Heppes on April 12, 1933 in Greenville, OH. 
At 10 months of age, she was adopted by her maternal grandmother, Sarah Mumah, and lived most of her life in Richmond, IN. 
Sandra graduated from Richmond High School in 1951 and went on to attend Miami Jacobs College in Dayton, OH. 
After Graduation, she went to work at Lukens Drug Company, starting as a secretary and working her way up to administration level. She worked for Lukens until her retirement.
During her life in Richmond, IN, Sandra was very active in the Zion Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir for 35 years.
She became very passionate about genealogy and traced her ancestry back hundreds of years, writing several, published genealogy books.
In 1994, Sandra moved to Portland, OR to be with her birth mother until her passing in 1999 where she remained until she passed away.
Sandra never married or had children, but she was loved and respected by all who knew her. 
She is survived by five cousins who will cherish her memory.
She will be missed.
