Aaron Patrick Walsh (1978-2025)
With deep sadness, we’d like to inform all that our son, brother and friend, Aaron Patrick Walsh passed away unexpectedly at his home. As his family, we feel the grief of this loss with broken hearts. He will be incredibly missed in this life by all that knew and loved him.
He lifted and loved so many in all his avenues in life. His desire was always to motivate, encourage and bring growth and peace to others.
Aaron was born in Merced, California on 1/13/1978 to Russell James Walsh and Barbara Jean (Lindstrom) Walsh. He had eyes that twinkled with a smart sense of humor and quick wit. Aaron was known for his love of learning and depth of knowledge. Every interest of his, he quickly became master of.
He was also known for his sensitivity and caring nature. We have been contacted by so many whose lives were impacted by his kindness and loving nature. We love hearing your stories, they are a great comfort to our family.
He attended Merced and Golden Valley High Schools, after which he served the people of Brazil for 2-years. Following that, he pursued a career in the electrical field, as his father and grandfather had before him. He worked at Collins Electric for many years, and had recently transitioned to a new position at Cochran Inc. This job allowed him to work from home with his brother, Adam, and of course- his kitties!
Aaron had many passions throughout his life. He loved fast cars, fixing watches, gift giving, music, cooking, trying new foods, gardening, and his sphinx cats. His most recent love was for his cats. Anyone who knew him knew that he loved all 8. He cared for them like his babies and they adored him. He was known to walk his neighborhood with Sulti. She followed him around, trusting him without exception. The relationship Aaron had with his cats was unique and beautiful.
He was also an avid gardener. He created a secret garden in his backyard that felt like a quiet oasis. We are sure heaven has a few new plants and trees already. He also loved to cook. He made a delicious Thanksgiving Phö meal for his California family in November. He was very hardworking and dedicated to the things he loved.
He was beloved by many. Please continue sharing your stories of Aaron below, we know he benefited many lives. We love Aaron so much. We will miss his witty sense of humor and great laugh. He loved all eleven of his nieces and nephews. He will be so missed. Aaron is survived by his mother Barbara Walsh, his siblings Anne (Ben) Pearson, Allison Walsh, Adam (Amanda) Walsh, Ashley (Andre’) Dilworth and his sweet sister Amy. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell James Walsh.
