Anthony A. Pappagallo 1947 - 2025
Las Vegas, Nevada - With deep sorrow, we announce that Anthony Pappagallo passed away Sunday morning, January 26, at St. Rose Hospital, Las Vegas Nevada.
He was born in 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Katherine Kitt and Joseph Pappagallo.
He was a graduate of Chaney High School. After graduation, Anthony was proud to have served in the United States Army for the next 2 years. He was stationed in Germany and was a teletype/radio operator. On returning home, he then went into the grocery business as a produce manager.
He married the love of his life, Andrea DiNobile on October 21, 1967, with whom he would spend 57 years creating a lifetime of memories. They relocated to Buena Park, Ca., where they lived for the next 30 years, before moving to Las Vegas.
Anthony loved rooting for the Cleveland Indians baseball team, and Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State Buckeyes, as well as the Anaheim Angels. He was a big sports fan! He also loved
to cook, and his specialty was stuffed cabbage, Italian spaghetti sauce, pizza and more.
A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, Anthony centered his life around his family, always serving as a source of love, comfort and guidance. Anthony's greatest
joy was found in his home and family. His children and grandchildren were the center of his life. He was involved for many years as a baseball manager and coach for his son Anthony's baseball team, which he thoroughly enjoyed. They took in quite a few Angel games together, as well. He was a big supporter of our daughter Terri's activities as well, which included cheerleading, and dance team. In the last few years, he also enjoyed going to breakfast and Bingo with Terri. Once in a while, they even won! He was always front and center for our grandson Joey's theatre performances at school, Alex's baseball games and Austin's soccer games.
Anthony was a faithful member of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church.
