Paul Michael Nee, Sr., 82 of Naples, passed away on Wednesday March 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on February 21, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Bartley and Mildred (McCarthy) Nee.
A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Paul carried the values of service, integrity, and resilience throughout his life. He dedicated 37 years of his career to New England Telephone & IBEW 2222, where he made lasting connections and took great pride in his work. Outside of his profession, Paul had a passion for traveling—visiting all 50 states, immersing himself in new experiences, and collecting stories along the way. He was also an avid reader and a devoted Boston sports fan, never missing an opportunity to cheer on his teams.
Paul was a member of the American Legion and AMVETS, finding camaraderie among fellow veterans and supporting causes close to his heart. Above all, he was known for his charisma, storytelling, and humor, filling every gathering with warmth and laughter. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Paul is survived by his children, Paul Jr. (Cathy) and Kelly (John), and his beloved grandchildren, Abby and Andrew Nee, and Avery Amato.
Paul lived life to the fullest and embraced each day with enthusiasm and kindness. In his honor, donations may be made to American Legion Charities, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and community.
