Patrick Hugh Elliott, 81, of Hammett, Idaho, passed away peacefully in Nampa on March 8th, 2025, due to natural causes.
Born in Boise and raised in Hammett, Patrick attended Glenns Ferry High School before continuing his education at Boise Junior College. From a young age, he developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and hard work—qualities that would define his life.
Patrick was a gifted stone mason, a true artisan whose work can be found throughout Sun Valley, McCall, Boise, and countless homes across Southern Idaho. Despite the challenge of working with one arm, his skill and dedication never wavered. His stonework stands as a testament to his talent, a legacy built to last for generations.
Beyond his work, Patrick found peace and adventure in the wild. He spent weekends exploring the rugged beauty of the Owyhees, fishing in remote streams, and soaking in the quiet wonder of nature. He was a man who lived life on his own terms—strong-willed, fiercely independent, and always prepared for the road ahead.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Viola Roberson and Joseph Elliott, his sister Kathy Roberts, and his brother Thomas Elliott. He is survived by his son, Sean Elliott; his beloved granddaughters, Ava and Samantha Elliott; and his longtime partner, Rebecca Daniels.
Patrick’s legacy lives on in the stones he laid, the wild places he cherished, and the family he loved. A memorial will be arranged at a later date to honor his remarkable life.
