Frank Peter Moses

January 15, 1970 - February 27, 2025

Frank Peter Moses, known to loved ones as Wize, was born on January 15, 1970, in Newark, New Jersey, to Eugene Sutton and Lillian White. On February 27, 2025, Frank joined his parent in eternal rest. Frank was a caring, loving, and protective soul who dedicated his life to his children, family, and community.

Frank’s passion for children was evident in everything he did. He had a big heart and a natural ability to care for not only his own children but also those around him. Whether through mentorship, encouragement, or simply being present, he left a lasting impact on the lives of many. His love extended to his hobbies—he enjoyed working out, cars, and making sure his family was always taken care of.

He was a man of wisdom and warmth. Frank’s favorite saying, “One love,” was a reflection of his belief in unity, loyalty, and support for those he cared about.

Frank is survived by his children, Briana Carney, Jyniaha Simpson, Zaryia Moses, and Ziyia Moses; his sisters, Rasheda Moses, Joleta Barber, Raheema White, Talika Barber, Eugenie Barber, Tahira Barber, and Shareefah Barber; his brothers, Eric White, Adam White, Ashanti White, and Mahdee Barber; and 10 grandchildren. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and extended family and friends.

One of Frank’s most memorable traits was his constant care for his family’s whereabouts—he always made sure to check in, ask where they were going, and ensure they were safe. His presence brought comfort, security, and love, and his absence leaves an unfillable space in the hearts of those who knew him.

Frank’s legacy of love, protection, and devotion to family will continue through those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude for all the prayers, calls, and messages of support during this time.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be decided at a later date.
