Dan Martinez Lopez

February 08, 1954 - March 21, 2025

February 8, 1954 – March 21, 2025
Dan Martinez Lopez, beloved father, husband, and friend, brother, son passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2025, in Sacramento, California. He was 71 years old. Born on February 8, 1954, in Manila, Philippines, Danilo moved to the United States where he spent many years building a life full of love and generosity.

Dan was a man of simple pleasures and deep affection. He enjoyed the thrill of the casino, but his greatest joys came from the love he shared with his family. A devoted father and husband, Dan expressed his care through acts of service, quality time, and thoughtful gestures. His generosity and kind nature were felt by everyone around him, and he will be remembered for the warmth and love he brought to those he cherished.
In recent years, Dan found a new passion for improving his health through a balanced lifestyle, focusing on healthy eating in an effort to cure his ailments. His dedication to this newfound path was a reflection of his resilience and desire to live fully for those he loved.
Dan’s spirit lives on through his daughter, Justine, who continues to honor him as she travels the world with Feld Entertainment. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, he is surrounded by the love of family members who have passed before him, and his legacy will remain alive in the hearts of his loved ones.

A private family memorial service will be held in remembrance of Dan. He was cremated and will rest in peace, knowing his family carries his spirit in every act of kindness, every shared moment, and every memory.
He is survived by his loving wife, child, and many friends who were blessed to know him.
May you rest in peace, Dan. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
