Cathy L. Donahue passed on May 24th after a brisk battle with cancer. Cathy was surrounded by love when she passed at Abington Memorial Hospital.  Cathy was born April 15th, 1958 , in Michigan. Cathy would reminisce about growing up in a small town in the Midwest, and would often laugh at the reactions to winter weather Pennsylvania. While residing in Lansdale PA, Cathy worked at Harborview Lansdale Care and Rehabilitation Center (previously owned by Golden Living). She was a reliable, dependable, and hardworking employee. Her dedication and work effect were incomparable, as she was continuously nominated for employee of the month. Cathy was personable and easy going, the connections she made with staff and residents was effortless. The love she put into her work, sassy sense of humor, and her contagious smile, are just some of the ways she helped put the feeling "Home" into Nursing Home.  Cathy touched the lives of everyone around her and could lighten your day with a joke and good laugh. Her passing was unexpected and quick.  May she be at peace knowing her love and memory are ever-lasting. She will be missed immensely by those she cared for and loved.  Harborview Lansdale will be hosting a memorial service to honor Cathy and her years of dedication to their community.  Arrangements by:  Donahue Funeral Home,  215-348-9421.
