Denise Engelhard of Cypress, California passed away on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Denise was born in Lynwood, California on January 21, 1956, to Donald Richard Rehder and Rosetta Louise Rehder (Powell). She worked at a local tax preparation firm as an office coordinator for several years. Prior to this, she worked many years as a professional dog trainer.
Denise enjoyed exploring different dining experiences including a variety of ethnic cuisines. She enjoyed the love and affection of her miniature longhaired dachshunds and her cockatoo and parrots.
Denise is survived by her husband Kenneth Edward Engelhard and was predeceased by her mother, father and two brothers, Dean and Greg. Denise will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
