Ricky Ray Anderson, known to family and friends as Rick, passed away on June 4, 2026, in Fresno, California. He was born on October 25, 1965, in Laton, California, to Richard and Betty Anderson.
Rick grew up working on his family's dairy farm, where he developed the strong work ethic and devotion to family that stayed with him throughout his life. A talented mechanic and fabricator, he spent many years building and restoring custom classic cars. His skill and craftsmanship earned him countless friendships and lasting connections throughout the classic car community. There seemed to be nothing Rick couldn't build, repair, or create. If someone needed something fabricated, modified, or fixed, Rick was often the person they called.
Rick lived life with an adventurous spirit. He loved riding four-wheelers, jet skiing, working on projects, and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed staying busy and was always ready to blare his classic rock music while moving on the next adventure.
Beyond his hobbies and talents, Rick's greatest pride and joy were his daughter, Jessica, and his grandchildren, Madelynn and Lane. He loved them deeply and cherished every opportunity to support their family from afar. Rick was a larger-than-life personality who never hesitated to share his opinion or tell someone exactly what he thought they needed to do. His honesty, humor, and willingness to help others made him unforgettable to those who knew him.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Jessica Fulenwider, and her husband, Blake; his beloved grandchildren, Madelynn and Lane Fulenwider; his sister, Regina Anderson; his brothers, Fred Anderson and Alan Anderson; his nieces, Hannah Amon and Meredith Wheeler and their families; his nephew, Cecil Anderson and his family; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Anderson; his brother, Cecil Anderson; and his niece, Regina Barton.
Rick will be remembered for his remarkable craftsmanship, adventurous nature, unwavering honesty, and deep love for his family. The memories he created, the friendships he built, and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
"A life measured not by years, but by the people he loved, the things he built, and the memories he left behind."
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting monetary donations in memory of Rick to help cover end-of-life and final arrangement expenses. Any contribution is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
