TATIANA MAKA
John Tillman Langford, a beloved husband, father, brother and uncle died peacefully at the age of 70. He was born in Long Beach and spent most of his life in San Diego.
He began his life of service as a firefighter for CAL Fire before working for the city of Solana Beach and San Diego City. John was promoted to Engineer and ultimately Captain when he retired.
John was a free spirit who enjoyed riding his bike, hiking, aviation, spending time in the ocean scuba diving and the warmth of the deserts. He loved to travel and spend quality time with his family and his cat. He is survived by his wife Rose Mary and by his son Christopher. John was extremely kind, thoughtful and loved by many. He will be missed immensely.
